Health Insurance--are you covered?
Part-time status at various organizations excludes most teaching artists from employer-sponsored health care plans. TAs, do you have health insurance?
If you are covered:
--Do you receive benefits through a spouse or other family member's employer?
--Do you receive benefits from a job outside of teaching artist work? (Is this the only reason you took this job?)
--Are you insured under an individual plan? Are the rates reasonable? Benefits comprehensive?

Hello!
I know I was blogging about a lot of cash advance and payday loans, but I will never be able to stop blogging about it. Whenever I see that some Web site offers other services, I would compare them with the other and, finally, a blog about their benefits. This is the actual way to evaluate any service, too.

I have health insurance through a company called Mid-West National Life. The plans are designed to give self-employed individuals benefits similar to those one would receive through a full-time job.
Now I can return to my fancy doctors at Northwestern, who I used to see when I had excellent insurance through an employer.
If you do not have health insurance, definitely call Mid-West agent Casey Chung!
She'll come to your home, or meet you at a cafe, if you'd prefer, and explain the plan options.
